"I have to go back." Rekker had to be honest with the Swede. "They're going to take it to trial and I could go to jail, maybe for awhile."

He held on to the Swede because he didn't want to be parted from him. What would they do to Bjorn if he was in jail? Would there be retribution? He worried about that. Right now, he was worried about everything. Bjorn did get a half-hearted laugh from the ginger.

"A caveman?" Rekker doubted his beard was that long, not in two days. However, it was an open invitation and he leaned in rubbing all the scruff against Bjorn's neck, right under the ear, before kissing his ear. "Forbid I don't have a face as smooth as a baby's ass."

He pulled back a little and he sighed. "Fuck, I could use a drink."

He was withdrawaling from his medication already, he could have a drink now but there wasn't any in the place.
